Acrylic is a transparent plastic with outstanding strength, stiffness, and optical clarity. Though not as pliable as Polycarbonate, it does offer improved scratch resistance and bonds well with adhesives and solvents. It has superior weathering properties compared to many other transparent plastics and is also available in tinted or colored sheet.
