General Purpose

High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMW-PE)

HMW-PE offers increased impact strength and improved wear resistance. HMW-PE performs well at lower temperatures, is resistant to stress cracking, and widely used for many common agricultural, commercial, and industrial applications.

High Density Polyethylene
(HDPE)

Lightweight and extremely strong, HDPE resists mold, mildew, rotting, and insects for use in underground and wet applications. It is also very rigid, providing superior tensile strength and improved scratch resistance, making it ideal for cutting surfaces.

Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE)

UHMW-PE is an extremely tough plastic with high abrasion and wear resistance. The versatility of UHMW polyethylene has made it a popular plastic for many applications that require durability, low friction, and chemical resistance.

Machining & Bearing Grade

Delrin/Acetal

Also known as polyacetal and polyformaldehyde, Delrin/Acetal is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

Commonly referred to by the popular trade name Teflon™, PTFE fluoropolymers gain exceptional resistance to high temperatures, chemical reaction, corrosion, and stress cracking.

Polyurethane

With characteristics more closely resembling rubber, Polyurethane typically has a higher oil and solvent resistance, along with greater abrasion and tear resistance. Applications include those where impact resistance is required. Hardness is gauged by Durometer where lower values represent a softer material and higher are harder.

Nylon

Nylon is a strong, stiff engineering plastic with outstanding bearing and wear properties. Nylon is frequently used to replace metal bearings and bushings, often eliminating the need for external lubrication. Other benefits include a reduction in part weight, less operating noise, and decreased wear on mating parts.

Clear

Acrylic

Acrylic is a transparent plastic with outstanding strength, stiffness, and optical clarity. Though not as pliable as Polycarbonate, it does offer improved scratch resistance and bonds well with adhesives and solvents. It has superior weathering properties compared to many other transparent plastics and is also available in tinted sheet.

Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is a naturally transparent plastic and very pliable making it ideal for safety guards, windows and shields, and other applications where cracking or shattering is a primary concern. Polycarbonate is also available in tinted and scratch resistant variations.

PVC Strips

PVC strips are ideal for pass through door areas to help reduce temperature transfer between spaces and is available in widths of 8”, 12”, 24”, and 48”. Ribbed PVC profiles are available for high traffic and high wear applications from lift trucks or other equipment. Optional Universal Mounting Hardware allows for easy installation on the header or wall frame.
